IBHRE at Heart Rhythm 2009
Throughout the Heart Rhythm Society’s
2009 Annual Scientific Sessions in Boston, Massachusetts, IBHRE will offer a
variety of activities for those interested in learning more about IBHRE
Certification. Whether you are already certified, preparing to take the exam or
interested in serving on an IBHRE Test Writing Committee, IBHRE has something
for everyone! Be sure to register for

IBHRE Certification Orientation
Thursday May 14, 10:30 am – 11:30 am, BCEC Room #209
Designed to educate physicians and allied professionals about the value of
pursuing and obtaining IBHRE certification, this event will give prospective
exam candidates further insight into the certification process.

1st Annual IBHRE Certification
Reception
Thursday May 14, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel,
Commonwealth A
Open to IBHRE certificants and their guests, this networking event will
celebrate the special achievement of those who obtained IBHRE certification.

IBHRE Item Writing Workshop
Saturday May 16, 9:30 am- 1:00 pm
Facilitated by test development consultants from the National Board of Medical
Examiners, this workshop will teach qualified IBHRE certificants how to
develop high-quality multiple-choice questions for the IBHRE exams.
Participants will be involved in item writing and item review activities. This
is an excellent learning opportunity for current IBHRE Test Writing Committee
members and non-industry IBHRE Certified professionals interested in serving
in a leadership role as a future member of an IBHRE Test Writing Committee.
