Activity Description:

Throughout the Heart Rhythm Society’s 2017 Annual Scientific Sessions in Chicago, IL, IBHRE will offer a variety of activities for those interested in learning more about IBHRE Certification as well as activities to recognize certified professionals. Whether you are already certified, preparing to take the exam or interested in serving on an IBHRE Test Writing Committee, IBHRE has something for everyone!

IBHRE Lounge

The IBHRE Lounge is open daily to non-certified individuals as well as to all who are IBHRE certified. This is an excellent opportunity for prospective examinees to meet with IBHRE staff as well as to meet one-on-one with IBHRE Test Writing Committee members and IBHRE Ambassadors—stop by and ask specific questions about the exam, learn about the IBHRE scholarship program, discuss how IBHRE certification is being recognized across the profession, and why you should become certified. IBHRE certified individuals are invited to visit the lounge to meet with colleagues, pick up their IBHRE certification lapel pins, and discuss volunteer opportunities.

The IBHRE Lounge schedule will be posted in the lounge. Refreshments will be available during specific times. If you miss visiting the lounge, stop by IBHRE’s exhibit which will be in the exhibit hall during Heart Rhythm Society’s Scientific Sessions.

 

Wednesday, May 10 | 8 a.m.–6:30 p.m.

Noon–2 p.m.

Free gift from IBHRE: To kick off the opening of the IBHRE lounge, join IBHRE staff and receive a free gift (as available).

2–3 p.m.

Ask the Experts: Designed for allied professionals and physicians, this session is a great opportunity to meet with IBHRE leaders to learn more about IBHRE certification and maintenance of certification. Refreshments will be available.

4–4:30 p.m.

IBHRE Ambassador Award: IBHRE will recognize Aparna Jaswal, MBBS, MD, DNB, CCDS, FHRS, FACC, Principal Consultant Electrophysiologist, Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi, India for her service as IBHREs Senior Global Ambassador promoting IBHRE certification around the world!

Discount Code: Stop by the IBHRE Lounge to receive a code for a $10 discount on Verification of Continuing Education (VCE) registration fee. Simply provide a written testimony of the value of your IBHRE certification to be featured in future promotion. Refreshments will be available. NOTE: VCE may be submitted early. The deadline to apply the code to receive the discount is September 30, 2017.

11–11:30 a.m.

Volunteer with IBHRE: Are you interested in serving as an IBHRE item writer or joining an IBHRE committee? Attend this session to learn how you can volunteer with IBHRE.
